Is there alcohol in your cupcakes?
Short answer: Most of our cupcakes do not contain alcohol; for the exceptions, they are noted in our list of Flavours.
Long answer: All cupcakes sold at markets/pop-ups do not contain any booze; they are just flavoured to capture the essence of classic cocktails and drinks. The exception to the rule are Spiced Whiskey, Bailey's and Chocolate Guinness; these ones always contain a bit of booze. If you want alcohol in your cupcakes for a custom order/event order, please get in touch with me to discuss. Please note that all cupcakes that do contain alcohol are within regulatory limits for food products before a liquor license is required (I liken this to how much alcohol goes into a rum cake or a chocolate truffle).

Do you offer gluten free/vegan options?
Short answer: Neat Cupcakes offers options for Gluten Friendly cupcakes, Vegan cupcakes. and a GF/Vegan combo.
Long answer: For the gluten free option, we offer "GF Friendly" cupcakes! GF Friendly cupcakes are made without gluten but the facility where the cupcakes are baked may contain traces of gluten. We recommend GF Friendly cupcakes for customers with a gluten intolerance, not for highly sensitive allergies/Celiac.
All vegan cupcakes are made with 100% plant based/vegan ingredients. Vegan cupcakes can have their icing coloured with standard food colouring or 100% all-natural colouring (please confirm your preference upon ordering).

How much notice do I have to give when I place a custom order?
Currently, Neat Cupcakes is a one-man band; I am the sole business operator and baker. It is my goal to accept short-notice orders in the future but until my small business grows, I currently am baking out of a shared commercial kitchen. For this reason, if you are in search of a small quantity of Neat Cupcakes, please come and visit me at a market I am selling at. If there is an order you would like to place for a large event, I appreciate you emailing me an inquiry so we can discuss details. The more notice, the better. Order minimums may apply.
Do you offer delivery?
For custom orders, yes we do! If you would prefer your order to be delivered instead of picking them up from the NW of Calgary, we can accommodate you. Please see our Pricing page for more information on delivery fees.
